هانگول هي حروف الأبجدية الكورية. ابتدع الملك العظيم سيه جونگ هانگول (한글 بالكورية وتلفظ [haːn.ɡɯl]) أي الحروف الكورية الأصيلة في القرن الخامس عشر في عصر مملكة تشوسون الكورية من أجل المواطنين الكوريين. وفي عام 1446 تم الإعلان عنه باسم " هون مين جونگ هوم " الذي يعني الأصوات السليمة التي يتم بها تعليم رعايا المملكة وكان مكونا من 14 حرفا و10 حركات. وتزامنا مع ابتداع الهانجول أصدر الملك سيه جونغ كتابا يتم فيه شرح مبادئ ابتداع هانكول وطرق استعماله بشكل سليم. وتم تسجيل هذا الكتاب في قائمة التراث العالمي لمنظمة اليونسكووخصصت هذه المنظمة الدولية جائزة الملك العظيم سيه جونغ للمرة الأولى في عام 1989 وتمنحها سنويا لمن ساهموا في محوالأمية في مختلف دول العالم.

كوريا الجنوبية

• The modern name Hangul was coined by Ju Sigyeong in 1912. Han (한) meant "great" in archaic Korean, while geul (글) is the native Korean word for "script." Han could also be understood as the Sino-Korean word 韓 "Korean", so that the name can be read "Korean script" as well as "great script." Korean 한글 is pronounced [haːŋ.ɡɯl], and in English as // or (with hyperforeignism) //. It has been Romanized in the following ways:
  • Hangeul or han-geul in the Revised Romanization of Korean, which the South Korean government uses in all English publications and encourages for all purposes.
  • Han'gŭl in the McCune–Reischauer system. When used as an English word, it is often rendered without the diacritics: hangul, and often capitalized as Hangul. This is how it appears in many English dictionaries.
  • Hankul in Yale Romanization, a system recommended for technical linguistic studies.

كوريا الشمالية

• North Koreans prefer to call it Chosŏn'gŭl (조선글 [tɕosʰɔnɡɯl]) for reasons related to the different names of Korea, or uri kŭlcha (우리 글자 "our characters").

الاسم الأصلي

• The original name was Hunminjeongeum (훈민정음; 訓民正音; see history). Because of objections to the names Hangeul, Chosŏn'gŭl, and urigeul (우리글) by Koreans in China, the otherwise uncommon short form jeongeum may be used as a neutral name in some international contexts.

Until the early twentieth century, hangul was denigrated as vulgar by the literate elite who preferred the traditional hanja (Han script) writing system.

التاريخ

اخترع الملك سىجونج العظيم في القرن الخامس عشر عام 1443م في عصر مملكة جوسون الهانگول وهى (اللغة الكورية) ولكن اسمها الأصلى هو(훈민정음) وهى تعنى " الصوت السليم الذى يتفهمه الشعب " . ولكن هناك عدة مسببات دعت الملك سيجونج العظيم إلى اختراع الهانگول.

أسباب اختراع الهانگول

1. الصعوبة التى قابلت الشعب في تفهم اللغة الصينية واستخدامها.
2. التفكير في اختراع لغة خاصة بمملكة جوسون لتصبح لها كيان محدد، وليست تابعة لأحد الدول أوالممالك.

ولكن كالمعتاد عند ظهور أى اختراع حديث في أى مجتمع فأنه يقابل الكثير من النقد، والمشاكل وذلك ضمن ممن اعتقدوا حتى الثقافة الصينية هى الفضلى وعلى الرغم من ذلك لم يلتفت الملك سيجونج اليهم ولا إلى نقدهم واخترع الهانگول بطريقة يسهل تفهمها وملائمة للحياة اليومية. وهى تتكون من 14 حرف ساكن وهي (ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ,ㄹ,ㅁ,ㅂ,ㅅ,ㅇ,ㅈ,ㅊ,ㅋ,ㅌ,ㅎ,ㅍ) و10 أحرف متحركة وهي (ㅏ,ㅑ,ㅓ,ㅕ,ㅗ,ㅛ,ㅠ,ㅜ,ㅠ,ㅡ,ㅣ) ولكن هذه الأحرف مألوفة لنا حيث مرت بعدة مراحل حتى تصل إلى هذا الشكل.

مراحل تكوين الهانگول

1. الفترة الأولى وهى فترة تكوين الأحرف المتحركة حيث حتى أصلهم يعود إلى ثلاثة أشكال هم : (ㅣ) وهى ترمز إلى الإنسان ، (ㅡ) وهى ترمز إلى الارض ، (.) وهى ترمز إلى السماء . حيث قام الفهماء بدمج جميع حرف من هذه الأحرف مع بعضها البعض مكونة أحد الأحرف المتحركة المألوفة لدينا مثل:(ㅡ+.=ㅜ) , (.+ㅣ=ㅓ) , (ㅡ+.+.=ㅠ).
2. الفترة الثانية هى فترة تكوين الأحرف الساكنة حيث يرجع أصلهم إلى ثلاثة أشكال : (ㅇ) وهويرمز إلى الحنجرة ، (ㅁ) وهويرمز إلى الفم ، (ㅅ) وهويرمز إلى الأسنان.

وبذلك يحمل جميع حرف من أحرف الهانگول سمة صوتية تميزه حيث تعتبر أبجدية صوتية ممتازة. وهناك الكثير من الدراما الكورية التى تتحدث عن الهانگول ونشأتها مثل : 뿌리 깊은 나무, 세종대왕. وقد قام أستاذ الأدب جيون كوانج جين بتأليف كتاب بعنوان "뤄바족" الذى يتاول الحديث عن ال بالتفصيل وذلك في عام 2002م. نطقب:كتاب حقائق عن كوريا ص 21

الحروف

Hangul letters and digraphs are called jamo (자모; 字母) or natsori (낱소리). There are 24 letters and 27 digraphs (and sometimes trigraphs) formed from these letters in the modern alphabet. Of the letters, fourteen are consonants (ja-eum 자음, 子音 "child sounds") and ten are vowels (mo-eum 모음, 母音 "mother sounds"). Five of the consonants are doubled to form the five "tense" (faucalized) consonants of Korean (see below), while another eleven sequences are formed of two different consonants. The ten vowel letters are combined into eleven sequences for diphthongs.

All hangul letters follow the rules of Korean and Chinese calligraphy. ㅇ and ㅎ use a circle, which is not used in printed Chinese characters, but is found in cursive styles.

The names of the vowel letters are simply the vowel itself, written with the null initial ㅇ ieung and the vowel being named. Thus:

To make Hangul a perfect morphophonological fit to the Korean language, North Korea introduced six new letters, which were published in the New Orthography for the Korean Language and used officially from 1948 to 1954.

الخطوط

Hangul may be written either vertically or horizontally. The traditional direction is from top to bottom, right to left. Horizontal writing in the style of the Latin script was promoted by Ju Si-gyeong, and has become overwhelmingly prevalent.
