فن الرسم الصيني

Loquats and a Mountain Bird, by an anonymous painter of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279); small album leaf paintings like this were popular amongst the gentry and scholar-officials of the Southern Song.

يُطلق لفظ التصوير الصيني على فنون جميع من الصين واليابان وكوريا. يرى كثير من المؤرخين حتى فترة أسرة سونج (960-1279م) قمة ماوصل إليه التصوير الصيني، فقد تأثّرت بها جميع الفترات اللاحقة. وهذا لايعني حتى التصوير الصيني قد بدأ في هذه الفترة، فهناك أعمال فنية رائعة تعود إلى ماقبل 2000 سنة.

والفن الصيني لايقلد الطبيعة وله أسلوب محدّد ومبسّط اتبعه جميع الفنانين التقليديين في تلك البلاد حتى بداية القرن العشرين. وبما حتى جميع المعتقدات الدينية الصينية ركّزت على حبِّ الطبيعة فإن الفنانين قد اهتموا بتصوير المناظر الطبيعية، والطيور والزهور والجبال والبحار. وقد استخدم كثير منهم اللون الأسود فقط بدرجاته المتنوعة. وقد اهتم المصورون الصينيون بلمسات الفرشاة ووضعها أكثر من اهتمامهم بالموضوع نفسه، وصوروا لوحاتهم على الحرير، وعلى المراوح الورقيّة والجدران.واللوحة الصينية التقليدية تكون في شكل ملفوفة طويلة، وعند المشاهدة يبدأ الناظر إليها بفتح الجزء الأول ثم يبدأ في لفِّ الجزء الذي شاهده بيده اليمنى ويفتح الجزء الذي لم يشاهده بيده اليسرى حتى يُكمل مشاهدة جميع اللوحة.

Zhao Mengfu (Zi'ang), an outstanding calligrapher and painter, advocated the mixture of old tradition into calligraphy and painting to create the Yuan style.

Guo Xi, a representative painter of landscape painting in the Northern Song dynasty, has been well known for depicting mountains, rivers and forests in winter. This piece shows a scene of deep and serene mountain valley covered with snow and several old trees struggling to survive on precipitous cliffs. It is a masterpiece of Guo Xi by using light ink and magnificent composition to express his open and high artistic conception.

The "Four Generals of Zhongxing" painted by Liu Songnian during the Southern Song Dynasty. Yue Fei is the second person from the left. It is believed to be the "truest portrait of Yue in all extant materials."

Shen Zhou of the Wu School depicted the scene when the painter was making his farewell to Wu Kuan, a good friend of his, at Jingkou.
