السير جون جاك رانكين گودي (1919 - ) بالإنجليزية Jack Goody ، هوعالم إجتماع وعلوم إنسانية بريطاني. وكان أستاذا بارزا في جامعة كمبريدج ، وقد كان زميلاً منتخباً في الأكاديمية البريطانية في عام 1976. وهورفيق في أكاديمية العلوم الوطنية الأمريكية. من أبرز ما خط "الموت والمـِلكية والأجداد" (1962) و"أسطورة الباگره" (1972) و"استئناس العقل المتوحش" (1977).
